There are two PhD positions open in Network Science in Diego Garlaschelli’s group (jointly with the group of Subodh Patil) at the Lorentz Institute for Theoretical Physics at Leiden University (the Netherlands), with intended start date on 1/9/2025 (flexible in case of exceptional candidates). The perspective candidates will work on projects concerning the renormalization and generalized statistical mechanics of complex networks. The applicants will be joining a vibrant and active research ecosystem, with frequent interactions with our colleagues at other institutes in the Netherlands and across Europe.
